RoomSwap helps students in the Netherlands match with one another to swap their rented rooms — no agency, no double rent. You list your room, discover others, and arrange a swap directly.

You browse or swipe through rooms, match with someone who wants yours, chat to agree the details, and then coordinate the swap. RoomSwap is the introduction and coordination tool — the tenancy and any landlord permission stay between you and your housing provider.

A deposit/escrow step is shown during a swap. In the current build this is a demonstration and does not move real money. Any real-money feature will be clearly explained before it goes live.

Creating an account, listing a room, browsing, and matching are free. We do not charge agency-style commission on rent. Where a service fee applies it is shown before you confirm.

We process your data under the GDPR/AVG and use only a strictly necessary session cookie — no advertising or tracking. Read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

You can remove your listings from your account at any time. To close your account or request data deletion, email us and we'll take care of it.
